hola, I am Ericka
Who I am...
I was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I made a pit stop in Taipei, Taiwan for five years (best long layover of my life). Now I call Stuttgart, Germany home — with a little bit of my heart still scattered across three continents.
I'm an illustrator and visual storyteller. My work lives at the intersection of mental health, immigration, identity, and the kind of everyday moments that hit harder than you expect.
My work
At the heart of everything is Historias en Miniatura — my ongoing project and artistic home. It's where Tulio (a little mannequin) and Benito (a grumpy-sweet hedgehog) were born, and where they still show up as beloved visitors as I keep exploring.
And explore I do — from minimalist comics to grabbing a marker and exploding in color, loud and unapologetically Latin American. Two very different ways of making art, both very much me.
Beyond the screen, I've taken these stories into the real world — through public speaking, an independently published book, merch, live drawing, and collaborations with local businesses.
Want to create something that actually feels like something?
I'd love to hear from you.
